Time Travelling to the Soviet Union!

Hey there! So I was just recently on tour at the Bolshoi Ballet Theater of Belarus with Astana Ballet. I've had the pleasure to perform in the Bolshoi Ballet's Summer Gala Concert for two nights.

We were not particularly lucky with the weather, but at rare times when the sun shined, the company members enjoyed laying down on the grass with the view of the theatre.

I'll be starting my next course within a few days. Hopefully, it is not such a demanding course!

Till then xx

Sugar Plumming in Boston, The Nutcracker

Hello from Boston! I am here for three Nutcracker shows at the South Shore Ballet Theater in Braintree.

I just finished dancing the Sugar Plum Fairy with my partner, Harry, who also comes from Japan! He helped me get through the crazy week of jet lag and sickness. Thanks a lot! Many thanks to lending me the costume as well!

Boston winters are approaching.

Honestly, I feel like little Clara who just woke up from her dream. This year has been hectic, starting in Boston in January and ending in Boston in December. It seems as if all the countries and places I've visited in between was just a dream, though.

This is what I did in a year; from Boston to New York to Hong Kong to Poland to Germany to UK to Turkey to Israel to Japan to the Philippines to Russia to Turkey to Kazakhstan to Turkey to Poland to Boston and back to Japan again.

All this while studying full time at Harvard and dancing! It was certainly not an easy year but I seized the opportunity and challenge and it made me a stronger individual.

And now that my final essays and exams are submitted for the fall semester,  the winter holidays officially begins for me! I'll be spending my time in Japan surrounded with lots of love, friends, and family.

Merry Christmas to all and have an amazing winter holiday!

Kisses xoxo
